Now based in Bejing, China, Qunfan trained as a pianist in the UK. His compositions are centred around the piano and are inspired by the minimalist composers such as Philip Glass and Arvo Pärt.

He is currently working towards an album that will be released initially as a series of singles throughout early 2026.
